We announce the death of Wanda Lola Baker (Wichita, Kansas), who passed away on September 7, 2026, at the age of 78. Wanda will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pauline Walker (Jachimski) and Willard Perry Walker (Mickey); her granddaughter Gracie Lou Morris; and her great grandchild Aiden Baker. She is survived by: her husband Teddy Baker; her children, Paul (Lien), Christopher (Debbie), Brandie Tanner (Mike), Roman, Addam, Alexis Ransom (Tim), Brock, Cole and Genny Fitzgerald (Cody); and her siblings, Marcie Hronopulos (Mike) and Wayne Walker. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and second cousins.
A rosary was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (124 N Roosevelt St, Wichita, KS 67208). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at the Resthaven Cemetery (11800 US-54, Wichita, KS 67209).
