With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Wanda Payne of Wichita, Kansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Riley and Enolia Womack (Cole); her sisters, Saundra Riley, Diana Allen and Judy Bauchmoyer; and her granddaughter Shelly Payne-Roeder.
She is survived by: her husband Tom Payne; her children, Rick Payne (Peggy), Lynne Zortman (Dean) and Robyn Mabe (Darin); her sisters, Freida McMahon and Donna Minton; her grandchildren, Christina Patrick (Shawn), Angie Gregory (Jason), Richard Payne (Claire), Matt Carter, Andy Mabe (Michelle), Levi Mabe, Mandee Veach (Hayden) and Caity Payne; and her great grandchildren, Sierra, Heather, Allie, Blake, Luke, Mercedes, Ethan, Jordan, Rainey, Jack, Graham, Emmet, Hayden, Maddox, Jaxon and Hawklin.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Smith Mortuary - Culbertson (115 S Seneca St, Wichita, KS 67213). A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Culbertson-Smith Mortuary (115 S Seneca St, Wichita, KS 67213).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
