He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eloris Jean Cummings and Robert W. Murphy; his wife Linda Murphy; and his children, Tonya Witherspoon (Steve), Kimberly Dye, Chad Cowan (Lindsay) and Scott Cowan. He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
