He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Goevert and Elizabeth Goevert; and his sister-in-law Lorene Goevert. He is survived by: his wife Mary Goevert; his children, Chris Goevert (Denise), Cindy Sherman (Bruce), Catherine Goevert (Oraza Allam) and Caroline Mancuso (Louis); and his brother Bernard Goevert. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with Magdalen Catholic Church, 12626 E. 21st St. N. Wichita, KS 67206. The family greatly appreciates donations made to these charities in Wilfred "Willy" Goevert 's name.
