In the vast expanse of eternity, William shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid William farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Legg Hercher; his daughter Gretchen Hercher Waite; his grandson Justin R. Jones; and his parents, Clarence Harold Hercher and Velma Owen Hercher.
He is survived by: his daughter Leigh Hood (Frederic) of Tiverton; his granddaughter Jillian Lamm (Kevin) of Wichita; and his son-in-law Richard Waite of Wichita. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
