She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Ansel Thorp and Hester Elda Welch Thorp; her husband Richard; her daughter Nancy Lynn Mercer; her siblings, Darrel G. Thorp (Jody), Donald D Thorp and Jennie Ruth Calhoun (JC); her brother-in-law Psych Lank; and also Marilyn Thomas (Gail).
She is survived by: her sister Monita Lank of Westchester, PA.; her sister-in-law Donna Thorp of Kismet, KS.; her grandson Bruce Monical (Suim) of North Hollywood, California; and her children, Hope Eckert (Robert) of Belmont, CA, Harrison, Hendrix Monical of North Hollywood, Judy Ebersole (Nathan) of Wichita, Ruth Tieszen (Joel) of Wichita, Luke Ebersole, Carol Shelton (Brent), Monica Burrus (Ben) of Wichita and Haley Burpo (Jake) of Wichita. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren And numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
This organization provides free speech lessons to Parkinson's patients via the internet daily and was a godsend to Wilma during the pandemic.
