She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Howarth and Opal Howarth (Hentrich); her husband Alfred Clements Tate; her siblings, Arthur Howarth, Donald Howarth and Charlotte Palmer (Howarth); and her daughter Anita Haussler (Tate).
She is survived by: her sisters, Carol Daulton (Howarth) of Arkansas City and Patricia Parker (Howarth) of Maple Falls, Washington; her daughters, Jacquline Dodson (Steve) of Wichita and Teresa Tate of Arkansas City, Kansas; and her grandchildren, DelJean Jacobs (Smith) of Colorado Springs, DeNita Freeman (Randy) of Wichita, Tate Smith (Karen) of Wichita, Aaron Smith (Stephanie) of Wichita, Kelly Kearney (Dodson) of Liberty, Corey Dodson (Olga) of Spring, Phaedra Link (Howard) of Chesapeake and William Haussler (Shay) of Suffolk, Virginia. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
