Jean M. Stover Obituary

We announce the death of Jean M. Stover of Williamsburg, Kansas, who passed away on August 26, 2026, at the age of 80. Jean will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Feuerborn and Marie Feuerborn (Trompeter); and her siblings, Ray Feuerborn, Faye Rubick and Janet Hill.

She is survived by: her sons, Ralph Stover, Jr. (Nancy) of Williamsburg and David Stover (Julianna) of Williamsburg; her grandchildren, Kevin Fowler (Tela) of Ottawa, Kansas, Krysten, Cassie McCall of Topeka, Kansas, Harold McCall of Topeka Kansas, Sean Stover (Riley) of Williamsburg and Ashley Stover; and her great grandchildren, Chevy Fowler, Zoe Thornsbury, Scarlet Fowler, Ivory Fowler, Keegan Holdren, Bonnie McCall, Millie Tipolt and Hattie McCall. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service - Garnett (219 S Oak St, Garnett, KS 66032). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Angels Catholic Church (520 E 4th Ave, Garnett, KS 66032). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery (150 Colorado Rd, Williamsburg, KS 66095). After retiring from RMH in 2012, she volunteered in the Gift Shop at RMH until Covid-19 caused limited open hours.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Croix Hospice and left in the care of the funeral home.
