He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Mae Metzger and Booth; and his brother-in-law Alfred Zimmerman. He is survived by: his wife Jill Metzger of Wilmore, KS; his son Chris Metzger of Manhattan, KS; his sisters, Nancy Zimmerman of Protection, KS and Mary Jane Spurgeon (Mike) of Lewisville, TX; and his pet Ranger. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
