He is survived by: his children, Kathlene Jane, Mary Margaret (Steve) of Concordia and Ben Michael (Rachael) of Diamond Springs; his grandsons, Dustin Schmitz (Rossio), Andy Felker (Taylor), Cody Schmitz and Samuel Barr; his daughter Kathy Schmitz (Ted) of Concordia; his sister-in-law Darlene Barr of Emporia; his cousins, Patricia Potts of Strong City and Trucia Drummond of Chicago; Mollie and James F. Barr. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
