He was predeceased by: his parents, George Leonard Alan and Sylvia Georgina Vopat (Svaty). He is survived by: his siblings, Phyllis Dolezal (Vernon) of Kanopolis, KS, Robert Vopat (Mary L. Mahoney) of Topeka, KS, Harry Vopat (Loni Jensen) of Paola, KS, Dr. Richard Vopat (Mary Kasper) of Wilson and Danny Vopat of Topeka, KS.. He is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews, numerous great-nieces and nephews, and several great-great nieces and nephews.
