It is with sadness that the passing of John Lee Wacker in Wilson, Kansas is shared. John, born on March 9, 1955, passed away on September 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
John will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor John by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though John is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. John’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Wacker and Esther Wacker (Kratzer); and his siblings, Sidney Wacker and Lola Gage. He is survived by: his siblings, Marian Maes (Ron), Marlene Costa, Edith Wacker and Lewis Wacker; and his sons, Cody and Cassidy Smith.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Ellsworth American Legion Post 174 (645 W 15th St, Ellsworth, KS 67439).
