He was predeceased by: his parents, Tobias Ramirez and Tiburcia Ramirez (Venegas); his siblings, Victor, Manuel, Sebastian, Theresa and Sandy; and his grandson Esaias.

He is survived by: his wife Maria "Jenny" Negrete of Winfield; his children, Cynthia Mendoza (Pablo) of Winfield, Petra Ramirez of Winfield, Tony Ramirez (Maggie) of Wichita, Patricia Ramirez of Winfield and Andrew Ramirez (Emily) of Wichita; his siblings, Joseph Ramirez of Goddard, Raymond Ramirez of Wellington, John Ramirez of Shreveport, LA, Paul Ramirez (Debbie) of Wichita, Tom Ramirez (Renee) of Castaic, CA, Larry Ramirez (Sheri) of Wichita and Delores Rodriguez of Wichita; his grandchildren, A. J., Marissa, Celine, Pablo, Jr., Isabela, Lilli, Priscilliana, Andrew, Jr., Eden, Annalise, Salvador and Estella; and his great grandchildren, Aurelie, Luisito, Rozalia and Blythe.
