She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Boos and Catherine Boos (Kronewitter); her husband Herbert L. "Herb" Leiker; and her daughter Sue Trimble. She is survived by: her children, Mike Leiker (Ruth) of Hays, Tim Leiker (Dot) of Elkhart, Steve Leiker of Russell and Barbara Moore (Bruce) of Winfield. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 1 great great granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home (1906 Pine St, Hays, KS 67601). A rosary was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Nicholas of Myra Catholic Church (2901 E 13th St, Hays, KS 67601).
Memorials are suggested to St. Nicholas of Myra Catholic Church or to St. John's Chapel at Via Christi Village.
