With sadness, we share the passing of Bill J. Newman of Winfield, Kansas. Bill, born on December 22, 1932, passed away on July 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lawrence and Grace Amanda Newman (Dye); his wife Una Yvonne Almquist; his siblings, Juanita Combs, Hubert "Buck" Newman and Bobbie Lee Newman; his sons, Michael R. Newman and David K. Newman; and his grandson Joshua Allen Clifford.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Clifford (Mark) of Winfield and Dr. Mark Alan Newman (Cindy); his granddaughter Amy Holloway (Corey) of Winfield; his children, Meagan Newman (Ian) of Edmonds, WA, Canon Rupple of Washington and Hannah Rupple of Washington; his great grandchildren, Mark W., Sierra, Isa, Piper, Brooklyn "Boogie", Max and Mara; and his great great grandchildren, Rylen and Kellson.
A memorial has been established in Bill's name for the Cowley County Humane Society. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
