Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Carmen Joyce Ankrom of Winfield, Kansas, who passed away at the age of 80, on January 3, 2024. She was predeceased by : her parents, Esley Quincy and Martha Ellen Powers (Love); her husband Arthur Dale Ankrom; and her brother John Powers. She is survived by : her children, Terri Miller (Charles) of Winfield and Robert T. Ankrom (Dayla) of Topeka; her sister Marcia Powell of Winfield; her grandchildren, Alissa Laughlin (Mike) of Lakewood, CO, Crystal O'Farrell (Chad) of Topeka and Robert Dale Ankrom (Olivia Dockery) of Wellington; her great grandchild Lindsay O'Farrell; and her pets, Scruffy, Hammy and Mozart.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Carmen's name for the Cowley County Humane Society. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
