He was predeceased by: his parents, George Walter and Inez Elizabeth Askins (Tomkins); his sisters, Barbara and Janet; his grandson Braden Askins; and his siblings-in-law, Roger Meier and Joyce Askins.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Askins; his sons, Todd Askins (Tammy) and Therone Askins (Lea Ann); and his siblings, Ronald and Elaine. He is also survived by three granddaughters; six great granddaughters; two great grandsons.
A memorial has been established in Allen's name for Harry Hynes Hospice. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
