He is survived by: his former wife Mary Ann Gresty; his children, Karen Crane of Winfield, Sheryl Wilson (Dwain) of Silver Lake, Edward Byrd (Sheryl) of Topeka, Jerry Byrd of Winfield and Nancy Mikesell (Roy) of Winfield; and his sister Mary Lou Hostetter of El Dorado, AR.
