He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha Olga Richards and Gene Flori Aversa; his sister Sandra Lee Aversa; and his half-sister Delois Marie Guy (Arroyos). He is survived by: his daughter Paula Downs (Randy); and his brothers, Claudio Aversa and Gene Aversa. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A committal service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery (1208 N College St, Winfield, KS 67156).
