With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Wayne Sherrard of Winfield, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 4, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Donald departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Donald may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Donald leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Sylvanus and Lois Sherrard (Winfrey). He is survived by: his wife Mildred (Parker); and his children, Duane Sherrard (Teresa), Kathy Brugioni (Rusty), Gail Klaassen (Doug) and Jeffery Sherrard (Lisa). He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
A memorial has been established in Don's name for the Winfield Lion's Club. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
