She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Douglas and Maggie Jane Lewis; her husband Eugene Doc Walker; and her sons, Roy Walker and Joe Walker.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Brooks Burch (Daryl), Mae Jackson (James), Douglas Walker (Elsie), Harry Walker, Gary Walker, James Walker (Jane), Kay Cain (Gene), Henry Walker, Karen Berry (Porter), Lisa Hall (Dino), Kevin Walker and Chris Walker. She is also survived by three sisters; 23 grandchildren; and 58 great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established in Mae's name for Bethel AME Church. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
