James Reed Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 6, 2025, at the age of 91, James Reed of Winfield, Kansas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Reed to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Esther Amy Reed (Lorenz) and Ralph Noah Reed; his granddaughter Crystal Redington; his son-in-law Terry Bogle; and his siblings, Louise Scarth, Virginia Lathers, Donald Reed, Alvin Reed and Alfred Reed.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia; and his children, Loretta Bogle, Todd Reed and Ty Reed (Susie Reed). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Miles Funeral Service (4001 E 9th Ave, Winfield, KS 67156).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Jim's name for First Presbyterian Church. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
