He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Ernest Sweet and Charlotte Blanche Morris; his wife Patricia Sweet (Rose); his children, Shari Sweet of Grenola, Todd Sweet of Grenola and Susie Teague (Kenny) of Grenola; and his brothers, Dwain Sweet of Blackfoot, Floyd Sweet Jr. of Hutchinson, KS and Jim Sweet of Grenola, KS.. He is also survived by his 4 children, John had 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
