It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Jane Hare of Winfield, Kansas, born in Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Linda Jane's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Linda Jane has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Alstrom and Dorothy Alstrom (Johnson). She is survived by: her husband Gordon; her sister Rondy Alstrom of Tilghman, MD; and her in-laws, Larry (Marilyn Hare), Jim (Mary Jane Thorne) of Bartlesville, OK and Wayne (Pam) of Petaluma, CA. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Linda's name for the Salvation Army. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
