He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Crystal and Lucille Logsdon Sr. (McCarney); his wife Marjorie Joan Ross; and his siblings, Ellis Crystal Logsdon Jr., Sally Lambert, Rolland "Jock" Logsdon and Mary Pippin.
He is survived by: his daughter Karla Armstrong (Wayne); his grandchildren, Tori Brooks, Tanner Cheney and Duncan Cheney (Kelly Sharkey); and his great grandchildren, Michael Cheney and Sienna Cheney.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield (803 Loomis St, Winfield, KS 67156). A burial will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Ft. Scott National Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, Helping Hands Fund; donations may be left in the care of the funeral home.
