It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael A. Higdon (Winfield, Kansas), who passed away on January 10, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Michael A. Higdon to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen L. Higdon and Mildred "Tillie" Marie Higdon (Schwantes). He is survived by: his brother Jeff Higdon (Terri) of Winfield; and his nieces, Cathi Wilson of Oxford and Tanya Chancellor of Wellington.

A memorial has been established in Mike's name for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

“I'm so sorry to hear this. I haven seen Mike in years. I worked at Gott Manufacturing when he did many years ago before he went on to the Post Office. I was on the line & he was part of the setup crew. I really liked him and he was strong as an Ox. Watching him change out molds in the machines had me wanting to do that tough job. A few years later I was promoted to Setup crew but sadly mike had took a job with the PO a couple years earlier. Jeff I'll say a prayer tonight for you & your family.”
