He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Max Eugene and Luella LaGene Murphy (Murrell); his wife Peggy Ann Wallsmith of Winfield; his daughter Kate Thompson (Jacob) of Arkansas City; his brothers, Douglas Murphy (Debbie) of Harper, Richard Murphy (Mary) of Winfield and Thomas Murphy; and his grandson Damon Patrick Thompson.
A memorial has been established in Pat's name for the Winfield Recreation Center for youth sports. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
