It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Joyce Matney of Winfield, Kansas, born in Anadarko, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 13, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Ditmore and Jacqueline Ditmore (Vanwinkle); and her sister Myrna Laughlin. She is survived by : her former life partner Corwin "Corkie" Miller; her husband Everett Matney; her sons, Les Miller (Stephanie) and Charlie Miller (Janice); and her grandchildren, Taryn, Braden, Evan and Addyson.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Cowley County Humane Society, donations may be left in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield.
