She was predeceased by: her parents, Opal Biddle (Simmons) and Curtis Biddle; her husband Jack Thurman; her son-in-law Dave Willis; and her grandson Derek Day.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Thurman-Zuck (Greg) of Hill City, SD, Susan Willis of Sioux Falls, SD. and Walter C. Thurman (Pamela) of Arkansas City, KS; her grandchildren, Jamie Kerr (Stephanie) of Pierre, SD and Charity Day of Rapid City, SD.; and her great grandchildren, Taylor Kerr (Ciera Paige) of Albany, MO, Dylan Kerr of Pierre, SD, Quinton Day, Patrick Day, Ryder Willis and Madyson Willis of Sioux Falls, SD..
A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Central Baptist Church (904 Wheat Rd, Winfield, KS 67156).
Memorial contributions can be made to the Cowley County Humane Society, donations may be left in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield.
