With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Shanthi Samuel of Winfield, Kansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by : her parents, Kamala Devidas and Ghishulal Devidas; and her brothers, John and Robert Bunyan. She is survived by : her husband Dr. Chandy Samuel of Winfield; her children, Dr. Alex Samuel (Priya) of Richmond, VA and Usha Karathanos (Byron) of Belleville, IL; her sisters, Dr. Leela Badvey of India, Susheela Stephen of India, Sheela Suchak of Buffalo, NY and Usha Abraham of Philadelphia, PA; and her grandchildren, Adrien, Elias Samuel, Demetri, Isadora, Samuel and Isaac Karathanos.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 10th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Miles Funeral Service (4001 E 9th Ave, Winfield, KS 67156). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (1101 Millington St, Winfield, KS 67156).
