He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn W. Boone and Doris M. Boone (Pappan). He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Sue Gibson; his children, Taylor Boone and Kelley Tillotson; his grandchildren, Chase Eagan and Corbin Eagan; his great grandchildren, Tyson and Raiden; and his siblings, Curtis Boone and Genie Burns.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Shelley Family Funeral Home (803 Loomis St, Winfield, KS 67156).
Memorials in his name may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project and left in the care of the funeral home.
