She is survived by: her children, Dr. Teoman Demir (Bernadette) and Melek Demir; her grandchildren, Scout Demir and Harper Demir; her nieces, Sandy Barker, Sherry Long, Gloria Opstad, Allison Rodgers and Funda Gökce; and her nephew Selim Gökce.
