It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Terry Leon Lester (Winfield, Kansas), who passed away on July 15, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Marion Lester and Mary Evalyn Hardy-Lundstrum; his son Jared Michael Lester; his siblings, Wayne Lester, Mary-Alice Eggemeyer and Shirli Jeanne Turner; and his nephew Micheal JonDaniel Lester.
He is survived by: his children, Amy Panek (Clint), Kim German (Matt) and Scott Lester (Jessica); his grandchildren, Kortni, Wade, Rhett Panek, Natalie, Tyson German and Scott Lester, Jr.; his siblings, Craig Lester (Lisa), Mark Lester (Anne) and Dawn Hackett (Bill); his brother-in-law Tom Turner; and his uncle Tom Lundstrum. He is also survived by cousins, and many loving nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery (1208 N College St, Winfield, KS 67156).
