He is survived by : his wife Sharon Colleen Johnson; his children, Lance Johnson (Melanie), Kym Gifford (Lin), Nathan Johnson (Laura), Brad Johnson (Vicki) and Lamar Johnson (Jonna); his stepchildren, Rachel Murphy (Don), John Monroe, Michelle Monroe and Brent Reeves; and his siblings, Paul Smith, Art Smith and Marilyn Easter (Jack). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
