Vargas, Jr., Andrew Vargas (Angela), Ben Vargas (Brandy), Nathan Vargas (Santi) and Cody Vargas (Ryann); his siblings, Richard Vargas, Mike Vargas (Renee), Mary Green (Norman) and Nina Smith; and his grandchildren, Andrew, Cooper, Adelyn, Jackson, Cole, Julian, Adrian, Aliyana, Rider, Malachi, Adonis, Cameron, Kyle, Tristan, Chandler, Mercedes, Lydia, Anevay and Xavier. He is also survived by one great grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial has been established in Tommy's name for Trinity Lutheran School. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
