He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Leopold and Karolina Grunwald (Buchnia); his siblings, Martha, Kurt, Heinz and Helmut; and his nephew Martin Grunwald.
He is survived by: his daughter Nancy Potter (Lewis); his grandchildren, Meredith Laurel (Nathan Woloshin), Andrew Lewis Werner Potter and Lillian Grace Karolina Potter; his nieces, Regina Grunwald Zandeck of Potsdam, Germany and Bettina Grunwald of Golm, Germany; and also Berlin.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Miles Funeral Service (4001 E 9th Ave, Winfield, KS 67156). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cornerstone Bible Fellowship (3725 E 9th Ave, Winfield, KS 67156).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Werner's name for Cornerstone Bible Fellowship. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
