He was predeceased by : his parents, Andra Pat Stephens and Ernestine Olive Stephens (Kusel); and his sister Patricia Lou Hinshaw (Patty). He is survived by : his wife Paula Stephens; his children, Andy Paul Stephens (Becky) and Jill Ann Schiltz (Matt); his grandchildren, Alec Paul Stephens, Grace Olivia Schiltz and Annabeth Rose Schiltz; and also Mary Stephens O'Neil of Parsons, Kansas..

Memorial contributions may be made to the Southwestern College Athletic Department, contributions may be left in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home in Winfield.
