We are sad to announce that on September 19, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Joan Mages of Wright, Kansas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Butler and Anastasia Butler (Davied); her husband Gerald Andrew Mages; and her siblings, John Joe Butler, Bob Butler, Rose Mary Bayer, Loretta Vice and Regina Butler.
She is survived by: her children, Sam Mages, James Mages, Linda Lenz, Susie Karout, Karen Houtwed, Larry Mages of Nebraska, Lyle Mages and Bruce Mages; and her brothers, Pat Butler, Donald Butler and Gerald Butler. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ziegler Funeral Chapel (1901 N 14th Ave, Dodge City, KS 67801). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Andrew Church (11798 Jewell Rd, Wright, KS 67882).
The family suggests memorials to St. Andrew Cemetery Fund in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
