It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Bishop of Yates Center, Kansas, who passed away on May 2, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Delmar Charles and Audrey Lydia Morrow (Fletcher); her husband Russell; her sons, Russell Charles Bishop and Brian Duane Bishop; and her daughter-in-law Nancy Bishop.
She is survived by: her children, Eddie Bishop of Kansas City, MO, Randy Bishop (Christi), Rita L. Bishop of Burlington, KS and Tim Bishop (Kim) of Andover, KS; her daughter-in-law Virginia "GiGi" Bishop; and her sisters, Barbara Demler of Gore, OK, Karen Lee Gaut (Gene) of Dodge City, KS and Beverly Gaston (Clarence) of Carl Junction, MO. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
