William Davis Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of William Davis of Adairville, Kentucky. William, born on December 26, 1941, passed away on October 10, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Davis to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Davis and Lena Biles Davis; and his siblings, James "Jim" Davis, Jake Davis, Glynn Davis, Stanley Davis, Iva Davis Hudson, Lorene Davis Schembri, Zelma Davis Tilley and Ann Tutino.

He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Payne Davis; his children, Angelique Cain, Kelly Silvers (Patrick) and Eric Cain; and his grandson Jarold JenningsSisters. He is also survived by Ten Grandchildren and Twenty-Four Great-Grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Alexander Funeral Home (209 E Locust St, Lafayette, TN 37083). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.

Family requests memorial contributions be made towards Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
