He was predeceased by: his parents, John James Cahill and Florence Evelyn White; and his daughter Denise Michelle Cahill. He is survived by: his children, Dawn Cahill of Adolphus, KY, Christina Irene Simmons of Fenton, MI and Dennis Michael Cahill, Jr.; his sister Mary Elizabeth Bennett of Lansing, MI; his grandson Michael Richard Gray; and his stepgrandsons, Trey Sholan, Walter Sholan and Dallas Sholan.
