Nathan will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Nathan by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Nathan is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Nathan’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Jamica Stonebraker (Will) of Bowling Green, KY; his mother Carolyn Herrington Mitchell of Scottsville, KY; his brothers, John Mitchell of Scottsville, KY and Donnie Mitchell of Scottsville, KY; his granddaughters, Jasmine Stonebraker and Marlie Stonebraker; his daughter Tamara Mitchell; and his father Jewell D. Mitchell.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Goad Funeral Home (215 W Main St, Scottsville, KY 42164). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice of Southern Kentucky. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
