Emma Barbara Cable Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Emma Barbara Cable of Albany, Kentucky. Emma, born on June 24, 1941, passed away on October 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, A. C. Claborn and Sallee Claborn; her husband Ben Cable; her son Ricky Claborn; and her siblings, Jeanie Claborn, Judy Widau and Jack Claborn.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Hubbs (Lamon), Greg Claborn (Amy) and Barry Elliott (Kerry); her siblings, Shelia Duvall (Dave), Francis Smith and Mark Claborn (Debbie); her grandchildren, Dusty Garrett, Ashley Ipock (Chris), Lamon Tyler Hubbs (Keisha), Chase Claborn (Taylor), Madison Dearborn (Evan), Morgan Elliott and Kaitlyn Nybro; and her great grandchildren, Codey Robertson, Hayden Garrett, Sadie Ipock, Cade Ipock, Ezra Claborn, Oliver Claborn, Sage Hubbs and Baby Arden Dearborn. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Talbott Funeral Home (1106 N Cross St, Albany, KY 42602). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donation to the Peolia Cemetery Fund.
