It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Hurt of Albany, Kentucky, who passed away on April 15, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Dewey Hurt and Zelma Hurt (Guffey); his daughter Kimberly Jo Ferguson; and his brothers, Wendell Hurt, Otis Hurt and Don Hurt.

He is survived by : his wife Dot Hurt; his sons, Christopher Miller (Goldie Stonecipher) and Grant Hurt; his siblings, Evelyn Catron and James Hurt; and his grandchildren, Celeste Ferguson (Kobe Alexander) and Luke Ferguson (Hailey).

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Talbott Funeral Home (1106 N Cross St, Albany, KY 42602). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
