She was predeceased by : her parents, Samuel Sturgill and Zettie Sturgill; her husband Eugene Preston Stevens; her son Ronald Wayne Stevens; and her sisters, Pearl Phillips and Vileda Davis.
She is survived by : her children, Teresa Newsom (Paul), Samuel E. Stevens (Lillan), Sabrena Krohn (Bradley) and Cindy McKay (Gary); and her sisters, Helen Phillips (Terry) and Rosella Hardwick. She is also survived by grandchildren and fourteen (14) great-grandchildren.
