He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Edward and Vera Christina Story (Cowan); and his siblings, Phyllis Gaynor, Sharon Underhill, Wanda Cronin, Donald Wayne Story, Gib Story and Jim Story.
He is survived by: his daughters, Angela Sartin (Wayne) and Lena Tabor (Brandon); his grandchildren, Emma, Elijah Sartin, Joshua Gaynor, Donavon Tabor and Austin Vincent; and his sisters, Shirley Sabelhaus and Jackie "Tina" Story. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
