He was predeceased by: his parents, Burley Bledsoe and Mary Edith Boils; his wife Phyllis Ann Boils; and his siblings, Lillian Walena Boils Melton, Ellis Ray Boils, Cletis Boils, William "Fuzz" Boils, Cliff Boils, Bob Boils, Frankie Boils, Ralph Boils, Mary Elizabeth Boils and Reba Boils Melton.
He is survived by: his children, Allen Boils (Shirley), Troy Boils, Sis Boils Holdiness (Paul), Jenny Boils and Katie Thrasher (Josh); his grandchildren, Garrett Moon (Mikenze Smith), Ivy Moon, Zoe Holdiness (Alex Megahy), Ian Holdiness, Dalton Poore, Mia Thrasher, Josh Asberry (Megan) and Dakota Boils (Leann); his sisters, Sue Fletcher (Gary Don) and Helen Thacker; and his caregiver Candice Carter. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
