It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharyn Derossett of Albany, Kentucky, who passed away on June 12, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Hicks and Christine Griffith; her husband Jerry DeRossett; her son Benny Wayne Bowman; and her sisters, Ida Mae Bladen and Nancy Bladen.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Poynter, Sherry Habermehl and Nora Bowman; her siblings, Lee Wolford and Shelby Isaacs; and her stepfather Halsey B. Wolford. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
