He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward and Judy Spencer Dawson. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Lisa" Dawson; his children, Daniel Dawson (Alice), Matthew Dawson, David Dawson and Micah Jolisa Dawson; and his siblings, Bonnie Dawson Stacey (Glenn), Linda Lyons (Bruce), Lisa Dawson-Knight, Diana Dawson Rebholz (late Jim), Sharon Dawson (Steve) and Charlie Dawson (Aubree). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
