He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer DeRossett and Ida Belle Lafferty DeRossett; his siblings, William Thomas DeRossett, Earl Ray DeRossett, Peggy Jo DeRossett and Patricia Shepherd; and his granddaughter Victoria Morgan Wells.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hinchman DeRossett; his children, Dr. Aaronda Wells (Jim) of Stanville, KY and Alan DeRossett of Allen, KY; his sister Emma Sue Geiger of Tampa, FL; and his grandchildren, Meredith Wells, Devin DeRossett and Gemma Tackett.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hall Funeral Home (331 KY-122, Martin, KY 41649). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at the Davidson Memorial Gardens (US-23, Ivel, KY 41642).
